Programmable Door Locks

On my 2001 Ext Cab LT the doors won't unlock anymore after removing the key and the when I open the door the key in ignition chime goes off. I tried to reprogram it ( to lock at 15mph and unlock all doors when key is removed ) but it didn't help. It's annoying because I like the feature, and it's worked perfectly until today. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Sounds as if the ignition switch no longer recognizes that the key has been removed. Check all of your fuses first. Have you had any battery or power loss problems lately?

Fuses are all okay, and no other problems at all.

I bought an 01 brand new and I have never been able to get that feature to work. The locks will lock after you hit 15, but would never unlock. Ever hear of that one before? I have yet to find a rememdy.
