I was wondering if a b16 head would fit on my stock block, and if so would i get around the same amount of power out of a built block that i would if i did a complete b16 swap

Plain and simple... B heads do not fit on D blocks. End of story.
And if they did, no you wouldnt get about the same amount of power as a b16 swap, not even close really.

Absolutely correct there.
Your only real benificial options are swapping on a D16 A6 or Y8 head for better performance and increased power. The A6 head is a great all around head, while the Y8 head will add you VTEC to your D15. This is known as a Mini-Me swap.
Wait, I'm like having a massive brain fart here, D16 heads will work on D15's right? :o

B1SiR6A, I almost ended up with a car like your dream car - in a way I kinda wish I had got it, but I didn't go wrong with the car that I ended up getting - a 2000 Civic EX (Si Blue) with only 23,000 miles on it for only $7,500
