"Eleanor inspired" Mustang GT 350... Blast from the past

In celebration of the AF Model of the year contest, I thought I would snap a few new pictures and repost some old ones of "Eleanor". This wasn`t really built to be an exact replica of the car from "Gone in 60 Seconds", but as you can see, I was very much inspired by that car. I started with the Revell GT350H kit, and borrowed and modified the front end from the rare GT350R kit. The wheels are Pegasus "Daggers". The side moldings and exhaust were completely scratchbuilt, except for the headers. The nitrous bottle was from a Pro Mod kit (I think Christine). The roll bar and fire extinguisher were from the 350R kit.
I`ve kept this above my desk in a case since the contest, with the letters from several of the AF members here. :) Since the contest, the rear bumper has come off, and the paint was rubbed through from all the polishing I guess on the sharp edge of the one fender. Other than that, it looks just like it did when I first posted it here.

Ok, I deleted the Corvette picture. Not sure exactly what happened there. :D
For wires, I think I just used the detail master ignition wires you can get at hobby stores.

Hmmm. Not sure exactly what you are asking, but I`ll give it a try. Yes, it was in the first AF MOY contest. I dont think the real car in the movie had a fire extinguisher or roll bar, but I thought it was a nice touch, and added a little more detail.
Thanks for the complements! :)

absolutly stunning. I loved that car last year, and I still love it. I think it deserves a write in vote for the MOY contest.
