You seem to come up with all these different colored primers that seem to get everyones attention. Good work so far. Really like the headlights.

Thanks!

I'll build it straight from the box except headlights and wheels.
pink is just primer :icon16: I'll paint it Finisher's Rich Red.

mixed Gunze red a little in "Mr.base white 1000" and painted by airbrush. ;)

Red NSX-R from you will be top-shelf for sure! :D Just wondering, how many red models have you built? :)

Thank you. I built over 300 models in this 25 years. :icon16:
old models didn't survive any more.
I was very busy last year, built only 12 models.
but this year, I'll do modeling at "Full Throttle"! :cwm27:

Hey Kunta, nice work! Your models always seem quite inspiring.. Anyway, I have this same model too. I found the quality of the body and the fit of the front bumper to be absolutely *horrible*! However, the thing that bothers me the most is definitely the mounting point of the front of the chassis! You can see it right through the front grill! Do you plan on modifying it at all?
The reason I ask is that I plan on modifying mine so that those mounts don't show through the front. I also have a wrecked Tamiya NSX kit and am thinking of transplanting the engine in there. I actually wanted to use the windows and engine window too, but noticed that they don't fit at all. The Tamiya NSX apparently has a slightly bigger roof...
What are your thoughts?

Clem, thanks.
I completely agree with you. front bumper and rear under panel get serious fitting problem.
I sanded it but there are still slightly open.
maybe it settle down if put putty inside but I gave up and threw over. :disappoin
I opened the duct of front middle section but leave holes for put in chassis. I'll put radiator in.
Using Tamiya's engine is good idea. ...it'll required big modification.
Good luck! :p

Kunta, for me, it's just all talk right now. I don't really have time to start the kit as I am very busy finishing some university courses. Anyway, I did just have a look at the 2 kits, and I think what I might do is use the Tamiya chassis and interior and then mate the Fujimi body to it. That *should* be easier than trying to stuff the Tamiya engine into Fujimi. I still can't beileve how simplified the Fujimi kit is, AND it costs more than Tamiya! What I need though, are some reference pics of the R-tuned engine in 3.2 form...
