engine light on 97 se

I checked vacuum lines and wires on the engine everything looks good.

light stays on.

any answers would appreiated thanks.

Well first you need to have the codes pulled. This will lead you in the direction of what system or sub-system is causing the light to come on.

There are 2 many vacum lines in your car not just the engine bay. Definetly you should narrow down to what subsystem you the SES light points to before do any line checking. Happy New Year
