Mobil One Full Synthetic but I prefer 5w-30. Basically it depends on the conditions and where you live. In the winter here in CO you want a low viscosity oil that will get moving around the engine as fast as possible hence the 5w- in hotter climates and under more severe driving conditions a heavier weight is preferable because it will be less suseptable to thermal breakdown at high temps. Being in canada I asume it gets pretty cold this time of year so go with the 5w-30. If you race in the summer time use something designed for the conditions.
BTW: FULL SYNTHETIC is always preferable to conventional, or synthetic blends. Its just better.

I use 5w-50 synthetic in the summer & 0w-30 synthetic in the winter. People who say once synthetic is used you can't go back to normal oil are full of shit. You can switch to synthetic, syn. blend, or conventional oil any time you want(wait til 3K new engines). The only time you should stick with full synthetic is when the cars comes from the factory pre-filled with syn(corvette, viper, BMW, Porsche, etc.) I change mine every 3K or 3months no matter what, people say you can go 7500 or more w/ syn. You know what I say, go ahead. Like the new BMW's, every 15K :grinno:, my buddies 330i starting ticking like hell @ 10K.
As far as brands go, all the major ones are fine. Mobil 1 Penzoil Amsoil Castrol Quaker State Valvoline etc.
Dyno test: Mobil 1 10w-30 syn VS. conventional 10w-30

do NOT use Quaker State.
i just got done rebuilding my motor, and the previous owner only used Quaker State and it leaves this nasty build-up over everything. :banghead:

I used 5w30 Honda oil for a while, now switched to 5w30 Redline Synthetic and it just doesn't feel right. I'll probably try Mobile1 5w30 synthetic next change. Does it really matter that I use 5w30 year round?

5w-30 is preferred year round. We only use 5w-30 for the Honda's the shop & previously at Honda, unless it's 5w-20 on the newer Honda's. http://www.binghamtonlife.com/manual/2gsm/images/91-4-2.jpg
