push button 4x4 problems

went to use my 4x4 button and nothing happens ..no click in lr panel area or anything always worked great in the past ..till i really needed it ..anyone steer me in right dirction please ..i have a spare 91 explorer with all the parts to fix ..not sure cuz ive always had 4x4s with lockouts and levers thks..

I'd start with the easy stuff like the fuse and the switch, if the fuse is ok, try swapping the switch, if that doesn't work, I'm lost as you are

all fixed i changed the acuator motor off my spare exploder..now i just gotta fix the auto hubs that wont lock in ...ughhh

tell me about it, I just finally got one hub to engage, took me about 2 hours, all I did was take the hubs off, disassemble them (removed the snap ring on the inside of the hub) and blasted them out with brake parts cleaner and re lubed them, I had to gouge out the tar- like grease from the springs inside. Hope it works for you
