Help losing coolant?

Im losing coolant and cant find where its going to. Its a 95 Olds Cutlass Supreme. There are no drips. Oil looks fine No smoke no nothing. Low coolant level light stays on. It drinks about a gallon every two weeks. Iknow this sounds odd but I cant find any leaks anywhere even checked inside the car in case it was the heater core and found nothing. This is baffling me. please help

Hey buddy Same problem..I was baffled just as well and I am a very good mechanic. I have the same car, it is a good possibilty it is a air bubble..you need to get removed by a dealer. I tried using those little relieve things when I replaced my thermostat and i still was dumpin fluid in..Worst news is it might be a warped header..but please get the air bubble thing checked..it is least expected but highly possible

I had this problem on my 95 Delta 88 and it turned out to be the plastic intake manifold had a hole in it allowing coolant to go out the exhaust pipe. Don't know if you have a plastic manifold or not, but if you do that is certainly one possibility. Take it to the dealer for sure, I used an independent shop and they cleaned me on the repair cost, more than a dealer would have charged.

You'll know if your oil is mixing with the coolant because your oil will look like a milkshake.

In my opinion, it is leaking at the water pump weep hole. The water pump usually fails very slow and leak down small quantity at a time via the weep hole. You might want to clean around the water pump area and around the weep hole and make sure everything is dry then try to start the vehicle and let it IDLE for 10 minutes and see if the weep hole is wet again.

The same goes for the transmission fluid too . . . and usually it will be both the radiator contants and what is in the transmission that will look just like a milkshake.
I would think that by this time an air bubble would have worked out by now and since he did not say that it was belching it out over the overflow, that wouldn't be it.
Take a mirror and a light and look at the water pump. Usually there will be a stain leading out of the weep hole in the casting. Park the car with its nose downhill; this will find some stuborn, hard-to-find leaks. Sometimes it won't leak when hot but will when the car is cooled off. Since you didn't mention having a wet interior or a oily coated windshield it may not be a heater core but check the outlet for the AC condesation water and make sure antifreeze isn't coming out of it. Check hoses. Heater hoses especially can leak through holes in the outer hose (of re-inforced heater hose) and check the heater control valve. If all else fails, check for steam out the exhaust.
