How To Spray Small Parts ( I hate brushing )

I usually only use a brush for accentts, small details, and washes. It just to easy to use the spray cans or thin a little and put it in the gravity feed cup of the airbrush. And this was its easy to do color matching.
I purchased a pre cut wooden circle at Home Depot and a lazy Suzanne ( as pictured on the underside of the board on the left )

In one of the circles I drilled a series of holes big enough to fit bamboo skewers in.
I then use some " fun tack " ( stuff used to hang posters )that you can get at the craft store.

take little pieces and roll them up, stick it to the end of a bamboo skewer ( you can get these at most grocery stores ) and attach your piece by sticking it in the fun tack. I always stick it to the back of a piece or the area where it gets glued. Now you can pick up the part and spray it without getting your hands painted and then place it back in the hole to dry.

I also put a piece of the fun tack on top of a plastic pop bottle and then attach the body to that. Make sure to fill the bottle half full of water or it will tip over, believe me I know! This also allows you to pick up the body to spray the bottom edges, the rotating board lets you turn it as you spray
