One of which is a SN95-1995 5.0.. Gt40ed out GTS (familiar? its the track lightweight 6000 mwere amde)

prochamber 40 manifolds,diablo 185 afr's pro-m and TB +the usual boltonsons
and a light Nos spray

Stangs are cool.. but the f-bodys are far sleeker and more poweful

Hell even had a "fixed 99 Cobra"


So i'm on the fence..



And i hear disturbing news as the Mach will take 01-02 Ws6... totally incorrect

First let me tell you what upgrades
were done to the 01-02 LS1

LS6 intake manifol
LS6 exhaust mainifold
6.0 liter vortec truck cam
revissed programmin and some anxcillary part for longevity



I hear alot of the 12.97 Mach.. well for the record..i don't think it was done on stock tires.. ie drag slick/ radials

and for a good comparison my 01 Ws6 bone stock and fully loaded turned consistant 13.1's And its AN AUTOMATIC

Also the Shaker provides little hp increase where as the Ram Air openiings and position in High pressure frontal cross section( once rain baffles are removed) contribute greatly to hp on the roll

So stock for stock.i wouln't toot the Machs horn. Mags that gave the Ws6 (pre 01) 13.5 show much higher tiimes for the Mach.13.8

yes its good.. and i like driving my stang alot.. but to say a SS or Ws6 is not in the same class of a machine , understatement..the Mach is not


346 na vs 281.. sorry good as it is.. adjusted numbers.and total averages leave the Mach lacking..although i wouldn't mind one..


For the recordi'dseen time slip of many stock 01 -02 in upper 12's..and with the 1le package. they do not suffer for handling deficiency nor a braking one

though i never faced an 01.. the majority of the f-body that i beat said if they could ony get traction..
iknow we are talking Mach hear but if the Cobra had a longer first ge or just retain the 3.27's with that much torque and power.. it would kill even more.

in my 95 GT-S..when i got over a certain hpp thresholdi put back 3.55 in from 3.73..and i was turniing much better times.

you have to conside the synergy .

And your point is???????????? Im trying to figure out are you here to sell us on the WS6 or the SS? Because if your are Im not interested in either, they are very respectable cars on the street. But im not into F bodys so I could care less. In my opinion people who buy muscle cars don't leave them stock for long. So maybe in stock form yes maybe the F body is faster than the Mach 1 and that is even debatable. I notice you don't bring up the supercharged cobra very often. That thing will walk all over a WS6 and an SS.
Remember this winning is winning. At the track it doesn't matter whether you are stock supercharged or running gas. The only thing that matters is who won. So don't get too comfortable just because you drive an LS6.

Bro, we need to talk. Off topic or not I can't resist the chance to talk music. I've studied the Mustang for about 8 years but I've been into music for like 20. I've been learning music theory the past couple of years(how to read music, chord structure, scales, ect)and it has completely changed my outlook on music. The more I play the better I get and the better I get the more fun I have and the more fun I have the more I play, it's an addictive neverending circle. Unfortunately playing the guitar takes alot of time. I play about 15-20 hours per week, and guitars/amps/effects processors/recording software/hardware are almost as expensive as Ford parts. What this means is that the Mustang is not getting as much attention as it used to. This sux but everything is a tradeoff. I've recently experienced something almost life changing, my first time onstage, in a local club, ripping up Metallica "seek and destroy". Can't wait to do it again. I've never heard Avengen Sevenfold, but they sound cool. Where can I find them online?

well i respect ya for bein in the air force. nah i didnt know 01-02 F-bodies had LS6 blocks, thought they were LS1.

Some of them did.. My buddies '02 camaro is a LS6 block but my other buddies is a LS1 block. There is some number on the block I guess that will tell you the difference.
