i have a crx HF with an si motor 1.6 sohc. And im still running it on my HF tranny.I just got my si tranny yesterday.I was talking to my neighbor which owns an 89 hatch and he said that the tranny wont fit becouse the cv joints are to small.Well the tranny is an 89 the same as my car.He said ill have to buy the whole si axle/hub assembly is this true?

As I recall, the spline count on the CV shafts is different between the HF and SI

..if you keep your hf axles...it will work.
..if you upgrade to si/dx axles...you will have to swap out your hubs to si/dx...
that's the difference between the two axles... hf has a smaller outer...
