Adjusting Alpine 9813

Well got this new HU and I'm trying to set it up and there's so many fuckin settings and options and AHHHH lol I just need some knowledge on how to set the crossover with 6x9s and 6.5" components. 6x9s are three way as well.

Here's what the manual says:

3 WAY SYSTEM

Press |<< or >>| to select desired cut-off frequency point (cross over point).
LOW: 20Hz to 200Hz
MID-L: 20Hz to 200Hz
MID-H: 20Hz to 200 Hz
HIGH: 1kHz to 20kHz

Press SOURCE/POWER to select the desired slope.
Adjustable Slope:

0 (flat (off))
1 (-6dB/oct.)
2 (-12 dB/oct.)
3 (-18 dB/oct.)
4 (-24 dB/oct.)

Turn the rotary encoder to select the desired output level

Adjustable output level: -12 to 0 dB

Ok I know some of that information wasn't even needed but I figure I would just copy it from manual like it so everyone gets the same page I'm on. lol Thanks in advance. Let me know if there's any other info you need.

Hey man, i got the same hu... if you look at the pictures and read the booklet it basically means if you only have front/rear speaks then do the 2way. if you have front/rear speaks and subs then do 3 way. since your rears are what you say i'd try 3way if you have subs, and if that doesn't sound right check out 2way.

doing 2way with subs if you need to the 9813 has front/rear pre-outs and if you have a 4channel amp you can hook it up that way.

Here's what i just personally found.... not touching the xover and leaving it to the 2way option you'll be set. then you can mess with the bass/treble etc. and it'll be like any other stereo you've probly dealt with.

do this, its easiest.... take the story book instructions that come with the unit, go sit in your car, and play around.
