Integra GSR vs. other models

I read a thread at this site on the GSR vs. LS, and many were praising the LS over the GSR, I think it was LS turbo. I don't knwo much about cars, and I'm thinking about getting a teg. I don't plan to do much work to the car at all, just keep it stock as it is, maybe do a couple things to it later on. Is GSR the way to go? Of course it's more expensive, but it is quite a bit better than the LS, GS, Rs right? I heard somewhere it has 170hp compared to 140hp on the other models?

I'm thinking about picking one up on ebay if I can steal a deal.

I'd appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Dan

If you chose not to modify it, the GSR would be the way to go, also depends on what options you want. The GSR typically has a better interior as far as goodies go, power everything. and your right, it has 30 more hp over stock plus vtec so its more powerful than a LS or GS or any of the others. I just upgraded from an 87 ls to a 95 GSR, and im in heaven, its soooo much better. hope this helps.

If you want to boost it, go LS, if you want n/a go GS-R if you want to leave it stock go GS-R, if you tight on funds go LS, it all depends on what you want to do with it.....

not to flame or anything, but did you not read what he wrote? he said it was going to be left stock for the most part, no turbo or anything, and prolly not even bolt ons, there for a GSR would prolly be better.

if your not into some serious tuning get the gsr. if you just throw an exhaust intake and headers on the gsr it will have enough kick to satisfy you

Hey,
I have a Acura Integra GSR just picked up a 94 ls with 102,000 on it for a pretty good price. Which one would you keep? They are both red the ls has leather the gsr has cloth but both have all the options moonroof power windows ect.

all i have to say is that my gs-r is the best thing thats happen to me since.........uuummmm.........lets just say its the best thing thats happen to me and i raced my freind he has an ls and i killed him.so id go with the gs-r cause you dont want to beat your self up for getting an ls instead of a all mighty gs-r.

The GSR owns all the other teg's except for the itr of course but that thing is quick. It's woth the extra money. Drive a LS and then a GSR and i bet you can feel the diff.

yeup, especially considering its the fastest gsr made to date (well, it and the 93.) if the b17 has low miles on it...then thats a MAJOR score.

i'd pick it up if i were u.

honestly guys, i don't think u can call any of the stock integras "fast" (even the ITR,) they're simply quick.

but...it may jus be me, cuz anything slower than low 13's is pretty much jus quick...nothing blazing fast IMO.
