This is the story. Let me know what everybody thinks.
Have a 93 delSol S. Park'd per won't pass emissions test. Good body. Strong engine, Complete.
Have a 96 delSolSi. Up and running. Looks like shit per hit in front and semi-repaired. Needs corner lights and passenger headlight.
These are the options:
Buy cornerlights and headlamp for 96, problem fixed for about 200-400 direct from Honda.
Civic headlamp conversion, new fenders, new front bumper, a/m projector lamps(civic w/ blinkers). $????? Not very sure what that'd cost.
Take fenders, headlamps, bumper and aux lights off of 93 and fit onto 96. Problem fixed w/ no $$$$$.
As it breaks down the question is: Aux lights or no Aux lights? How much do I want to spent and how much effort?

If the engine on the S is so strong, why did it fail emissions?
Not being a bitch, just curious.

maybe the exhaust system is all rustied up as hondas tend to do after.... 2 months. :P
personally since i am borke off my ass, i would swap the stuff off the del sol s. personally the aux lights dont make a difference but i like the front facia of the older gen del sol as oppsed to the 96-7
that woul dbe the CHEAPES alternative to having to buy a member set rad. support, cut and weld fenders, buying hood headlights and doing front end conversion to del sol.
all in all. just swap shit over from the busted up s and make your si work

neither sols are busted up. the s motor is strong, just has physically broken EVAP parts. spec the Purge control soleniod valve (driver rear of engine bay mounted to the intake man.) If anybody has one of these layin around, plse lemme know. si also runs fine. just has 93 headlights and 96 bumper doesn't fit right. so my shit looks jack'd. and yes, i did verify that headlamps on the 93-95, and the 96-97 are diff sizes since the removal of aux lights. Not really wanting to convert 93 fr end to 96 cause I'd like to sell it whole as a builder.
