head resurfacing

just wondering what the max i could shave my head down to using a y8 head gasket was. my old crx head was shaved down pretty much all the way but used to back fire. was kinda neat when i downshifted.
but i dont know the exact mesurments??

anyone know i dont wanna have to do the clay clerance test.

shaving the head is dumb. its irreversible and has the effect of throwing your cam timing off. get high compression pistons or use a really thin head gasket.
