I am thinking about installing shaved door handles on my 4dr accord. Can anybody school me on what I need to know.
1. who makes to most reliable product?
2. should I get 35lb solenoids or should I get stronger ones (wear & tear reasons)?
3. door thrusters vs. door poppers?

any info regarding the kit itself and the body work would help

There is a guy around here that only did the rear doors. IMO it looks good. The way I understand it he just took out the switch for the child door locks. That way they cant get locked shut :banghead: Because they only open from the inside.
For me I dont think that would be a big deal. VS. the money and headaches of door poppers.
I it was me. I would BUY FROM HERE (http://www.rockyhinge.com/index.html) Before trusting some ricer rag parts place. I have used Rocky's for parts. There parts are the best made for the best. Just look in there car gallery. http://www.rockyhinge.com/sdp01.gif

I have shaved door handles on my accord and I have the door poppers. Defiantly disable your child lock and the door locks. If you have automatic door locks and someone accidentally locks the doors from the inside and shuts the door. There's no way your getting in. Another safety thing to do is put a hidden button, that only you know about somewhere on the outside just for cases like that or if u leave you keys in the car with the remote.
