Finally ladies and gentleman, I have a car. After a long, long, very long time of looking at cars, I finally have one of my own. I posed about this car about a month ago, and I finally bought it today. Here are the specs:
1994 Mustang GT 5.0L
Dark Green exterior with tan top
tan clothe interior with power seats, casette and cd player
5spd (booyah!)
82,000 miles
1 previous owner (was a major general!!! wowies)

uhhhhhhhhhhh..i don't know what else to say..i am not menioning the price, since prices of cars differs throughout the country. So to some it may seem like a fair deal, and to others jsut a so-so deal.

It is really clean both inside and out. My parents are thinking of buying a digital camera soon so as soon as they do i will try to get some pictures up.

The only wierd thing it does is this. The cd-player works fine, but i turned the carr off, chilled wth a friend, then went inside to show him the sound system (which is really good even though it isn't the mach one) but like it started freaking out about the cd in there...i got it to work after hiting stop and play a few times..and then ejected the cd..but now like hen listening to the radio..it will randomly flash to teh cd player..and try to read something...and after like a second or two, go back to teh radio..it is really wierd. The car has a 1 month warranty, so if it persists, I am gonna ask them to fix it.

any help on the Cd player problem would be appreciated, as far as i can tell, it seems like the cd player keeps thinking that something has been inserted into it, so the system switches to it, realizes that nothing has, and then go back to the radio, but does anyone know why this woudl happen?

Come on now SIKCRX.

Anyway, nice buy Rodek! :bigthumb: About your Cd player, I would just buy a nice aftermarket one, and be done with it.

okay, for the cd player, yeah, it is wierd, sometimes i put in a cd, and it works fine, other times, i put in a cd, and the player starting triping all over itself trying to read it..so i have no idea what is going on..i will ask the dealership to deal with that.

but i just noticed another thing, sometimes when i am taking off in first gear, it makes a wierd noise..almost like a faint grinding noise. It only happens sometimes and isn't very loud. It is kinna a grinding noise, or a scraping noise...but it does sound mechanical. Any ideas what it could be? I have a one month warranty, so if there are any problems i wan to find them now and have them fixed.

oh i know that like alpines sound better, but when i paid for the car, i paid for a working cd player, so i want to have that, and i would rather put the little money i have into something else for the car. like sub-frame connectors, that is probably the firs thing I am gonna do, then i want to get the Force II Flowmaster system. I love the way that sounds. So to have to spend an additional 100 dollars just to get what i originally paid for....ain't my bag baby

MustangRoadRacer

yeah, subframe connectors rock.
It's no fun taking a corner and having the back end slide around, or worse, have a wheel lift off the ground because of body roll.
also, stock subframes can crack under hard driving.
