Check Gauges light comes on

For over 6months my 'check gauges' light comes on when I apply my break - when I am driving it stays off. Why? What gauges do I have to check?

The only time my check gauges light has ever come on was when I was really low on gas. You may want to check your brake fluid, actually all of your fluids. Also, check the owner's manual to see if it would say anything about what the light means. Otherwise, I would say there is a problem in the wiring.
