My fuel gauge does not work - shows empty when it is not. Is there a way to fix this?

Check Your Fuses If They Are Good Then Chances Are The Sending Unit Is Shot, its Not A Expensive Fix If That Helps Ya Any Also You Can Pull Your Dash And Check The Connections To It Good Luck Gmcman

What is 'Sending Unit" and where is it located?

The sending unit is what tells your fuel gauge how much fuel you have and should be located somewhere around the tank. Your fuel gauge showing empty could also be what causes your check gauges light to come on. If both problems are on the same vehicle, they could possibly be related. Not sure though, just a guess.

Just thought I would add my latest information. All of a sudden........it is working again. Don't know what happened - but now my tank shows full when full the needles moves accordingly :)
