W3RD! That's probably the most touching story I've read in a long time.

Wow. Excellent thread man...nice find. We have a lot of stories like this in my area because of Duke Children's Hospital. Every year I donate money and toys to them, along with thousands of other people. They also talk about their stories of their disease or their son's or daughter's disease or their lost family member on the radio.
