What's YOUR RPM?

Under normal everyday driving, how high does your RPM get before the car shifts? I never let mine get over 2500 and that is at complete max.. Sometimes when I want i get it to 3000 and I've only gone over 3000 two times, when i floored the gas. As you can see, I put like 0 stress on my engine.. how high does everyone else go?

yeah under light load it shifts same as yours, but once in a long while I'll get the urge to see how fast it goes (that is why we like these cars right?) and then it shifts a little before redline. Seems it gets the best standing acceleration with the shifter just in drive, shifting 1 2 3 D is a waste and maybe even puts more stress on the box, is that correct drag strip pros?

Light load I'd say my car shift around the same RPM, but with this higher stall Torque Convertor it seems alittle higher. Not really sure still getting used to the new trans.

WOT w/ the DHP PCM it will shift usually @ 6100-6200 rpm
WOT w/ the CYA PCM it will shfit usually @ 6000rpm

If you leave the shifter in 1 it will still shift to 2nd automatically, any other gear and you can bounce it off the rev. limiter
