Squeak?!?

My 98 is making a high pitched squeaking noise when I'm going at very slow speeds (5-25mph). I assume it could be a number of things so I'm not gonna try fixing it myself untill i get some other opinions. It does it with breaks applied or not or with steering wheel turned or straight so i'm not sure what it is. I don't want to take it to a dealer because I can't really afford to right now. I am more of a do it yourself person even if I did have the cash. Anyhelp would be great. thanks.

It could be your wear indicator's on your brake pads, check you pads after your car cools down, I have made the mistake of touching my brakes when there are still warm, and trust me you don't want to.....ouch!!! check your pads they should have some metal flaps on them, you can bend those metal tabs bake and that should stop your squeaking.

Yeah, I was gonna say brake wear indicators too. You can bend them away from the rotor to stop the squeak but keep in mind that the reason the indicator is squealing is that you're gonna need pads soon.....assuming that's the source of your noise.
