84 engine swap

I was given an '84 se, and one of the cylinders is bad (read as--problem yet to be determined :banghead: ) I was thinking a swap would be less time consuming than a rebuild, maybe? Is it true that the 4G63 (turbo eclipse motor) is a relatively easy swap? I am trying to set up the van for hauling mountain bikes across country, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a former Caravan/Voyager owner,I would recomend that you scrap that project and start with a heavy duty van/truck.
