2 quick questions please

I have a 1997 VW Jetta GL 1.8.
I ordered some slotted rotors and mintex brake pads for it. The pads work perfectly BUT when I went to replace the rotors they didnt seem to be the same style. The guy I got them from swears they are the only ones available. When I go to take mine off they seem to have a extended neck, the ones I got do not. They just have the hole that the hub goes into and that is it, not an additional neck that almost comes about an inch longer. Maybe some one can post a pic of what the rotos should look like so I dont go through the trouble of removing them (very hard to get them off!!) and dont waste any more time? Thanks for anyone who can help on this!

Second question. This car has the power locks that open when you insert key into door, it pops open all four doors.Lately the drivers side wont work. I have to go to the passenger side to open the doors, any fix for this?

Did you check all the vacuum lines for your door locks? I've bumped one in the trunk and made it so the passenger side wouldn't lock/unlock.
