Power steering

My 98 Audi A4 has been loosing power steering fluid. The dealer says I need to replace power steering rack, ps pump, and hoses for a total cost of approx. $3400. Does that seem high? Worth it for a car that has only 36,000 miles? TIA

..with any estimate that high, I would definitely definitely get a second opinion.. maybe talk to your local independent..or find an audi or german specializing independent...
