Help locating Taurus speed sensor

Hi all, got a speed sensor for a '90 Taurus. (Originally thought it was a '91)

Anyway, I can't find the darn thing at all to replace it. Anyone have any idea where it is at? Top, bottom, front, back?

what tranny is in your car

follow the speedo cable to the tranny. the cable goes to the speed sensor and the sensor is on the tranny.

Thanks, I found it yesterday. Was hidden under heater hoses and exhaust off of the engine.
