i like the gt14 the 56 trim is good , has good top end and good spool up,
next i would go 20 g nice topend also
the gt10 is to small in my opinion like a 16g.. good for qucik street racing but not to much top end.. the small 46trim will and only 44\lb air flow wont give you lots of power..
i like the gt-14..
let me know how it works out for you..

this is what a couple guys said about the GT-14
"IMO the GT-14 is overkill for a street car, especially without a fully built motor. With a flow rate of 65 lb/min (940 cfm), you are going to be well below the best usable efficiency of the compressor unless you run high boost all the time. You will also most likely experience alot of low end surge with a compressor that large on a 2.0L engine, causing a loss of some driveability."

Well, I might as well toss my 2 cents in the barrel since I have some experience with the turbo. The GT14 compressor wheel, or GT30/40 hybrid, is in my turbo. It is big. 98% of DSMers are not prepared to run a turbo that large. I get full boost at ~4400 rpm with a GM airflow sensor. I never see any surge. It lags too much to surge in my case. In the full BB version, it may be a little better, but dont expect much. GT10 is small, and I'm notsure why its even in the same conversation as the GT14 :) A "large" street turbo would be something around the 20g. I like SBRs TDO6H version, that what I used to run the times in my sig. The GT12 is a great alternative if you want a BB turbo. The GT13 has run 10s, just ot put things in perspective. ;)
Bear in mind that running a BB turbo brings a lot of maintance responsibility. The oil has to be super clean, and the pressure has to be just right. Thatusually means taking the feed from the head, with an inline filter. For an everyday street driver, I still think the TDO6H 20g is the best thing going. It will easily support 11s on a well modded, well tuned car, and I ran 25 psi everyday on pump gas (93) with full boost at ~37-3800 rpm. It can be boughtnew for a grand or less, if you go external (and you should on anything over a 16g, in my epxerience).

would you guys recomend a bb turbo for a street application?
and how good is the gt-12?
it seems good when does it make boost? and will the 7cm housing help the spool up time.

GT12 is a great turbo. Will easily do 11s well supported and well tuned. I would expect 25 psi by 4k rpm. I already talked about the BB thing. Wether or not its a "street" turbo for YOU is up to you, not us. IF you are willing to take the necessary steps to make it work, go for it. If you arent, stick with conventional bearing turbos. :)
