help! interior lights!

I have 2 Pontiac Bonnevilles one is a SSE, and the other is a SE.well at night i turn the head lights on in the SE model and the interior lights come on..as they are supposed to do, but after about thirty minutes they kick off and alll of the interior lights will not work except for the small ones shining down on the power window,and doorlock switches. ohh and the clock on the radio will work too. Has anyone been having this problem? or does anyone know whats wrong please help!

The interior lighting should fade out a few seconds after all doors are shut. Do the head lights shut off after 30 minutes?

markwb, no itsd not the dome light its the interior lights that light up the gauges and heater switches etc. they just shut off and the park, and healights stay on

remote accessory control might be bad

I have kinda the same problem. I pulled the fuse when I was driving ,my interior lights came on I replaced the fuse and they would not go off. Well I tried again a little later when I got in the car and started it the lights would go off like they should, but when I got out and hit lock the light are supposed to go off with out delay, but the wont they just stay on and I have to pull the fuse again.. This also controls the power mirrors.
what should I check or do?

My interior lights have came on and then go off while I was sitting in the car. I am not sure why...this has happened a few different times but only when I am parked. :rolleyes:
