I do not know much about VW so if this is stupid, sorry for asking. Will that hood work on a 97 Jetta? It looks identical to my front end so I was just curious.
You said the whole front end was for sale?
What does that include?

I know a few people that have swapped front ends on their jetta and golfs, but you have to swap the whole front end. The headlights are differently shaped. If you want to put this golf hood on your jetta, you will also need to take the quarter panels, hood, grill, and bumper off your jetta and put a whole front end from a golf on, for the swap to work. It is a popular thing to do and looks nice... they match right up to in front of the doors and are the same size. the only differences are slight angles and curves around the lights and grill. go look at the front of a golf and a jetta together. pay attension very close to the outer sides of the headlights on the side and you will see what i am talking about.

good luck and welcome to the world of front end swapping.

Ahh, point taken. The headlights are different. Mine are almost rectangle and these are more rounded toward the grille. Oh well. Thanks for the info!

Good luck selling it!!
