Question about rear drums. To remove them do you take off the nut on the spindle? there is two stuck (tried turning them but they would not budge) phillips head screws in the face of the drum and I was wondering if they have to come off also.
Thanx for any help

Thanks mechy1barry
Now I just have to get a phillips socket for a 3/8 ratchet. My craftsman phillips don't have square shanks to get a wrench on :-(
Chilton and motor don't have any diagrams on the escort drums and very little info on removal saying something like take off nut and screws to remove drum. Thats why I came here for help? I didn't want to go and buy an 1 1/4 in. socket unless I had to.
Thanks again
