My son has a 1991 Camaro RS, V6. It has had difficulty starting recently (turn the key, "click" but no rev) but after a couple of turns of the key it turns over fine. Anyway, he thought that at a minimum that replacing the spark plugs would help.
Neither of us have any pertinent knowledge of auto mechanics. I bought him a set of tools for xmas. He asked the auto parts store for spark plugs and cables for a 91 Camaro.
Anyway, after finishing the job the car won't start.
After we finished the job we bought the "Haynes Repair Manual" and learned that we needed to replace one spark plug and cable at a time. He says he took out all the plugs on one side then put the new ones in. Then did the same to the other side.
What I suspect is wrong is that the cables didn't get reconnected to the correct plugs on the distributor cap.
Can anyone tell us how to put the cables on right (or point to a diagram on the Internet)?
Thanks,
Daryl
