Heres another rare oddball project of mine. But heres an update of my TC T-Bird and SC Z28: TC T-Bird=95% Finished SCZ28=98% Finished

I decided to start something else after getting frustrated at my Z28. Its Revell's 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix Turbo AKA TGP. It has a 205 HP 235 LB FT OF TQ 3.1L V6 (Mind you standard issue Grand Prix only came with 140HP). But im gonna start calling it a "Modded GT" because their were only 2 colors avaible for the TGP. Red and Black. The late 80's GM Sedans/W-Body cars are really interesting. They come with bucket seats in the back, HUD (Heads up display; found on C-5 Corvette's and Caddilliacs), and about every electronic they could find usefull in the cars. Here is only 1 pic. And yes... that is a front mount intercooler....

NFSU PROGRESS: Next race 88/111. CAR: GTR R34
How do I get chameleon paint? Have 1-3levels of paint!
I've already beat the game twice, and its still entertaining!

Progress has yielded. As you can see in this pic, the front tire practically rubs against the front fender. I gotta fix that..some how, and it needs a new intake turbo

Heres the turbo setup with out the skin. New turbo intake, new intake-to-intercooler pipe. I will sand it down so its all smooth.. can you say torque steer? lol

It's "GTP"; and great work so far. I have a '91 GP with a 3.1 N/A engine if you need detailed engine pics.

The GTP was basically a step further then the GT. Basically it came with the TGP body kit (after 1991), and a stiffer suspension, but it was still naturally asperated (i think) untill about 96(?), when SLP Started building the GTP's with the super charger.

The TGP: "1989-90 McLaren Pontiac Grand Prix Turbo - The McLaren Turbo Grand Prix had the standard 3.1L (VIN T) V6, but had an added turbocharger and intercooler which was designed, developed, and certified by McLaren Engines. The cars sported ground-effects, fender flares, 245/50ZR16 tires, and only came in red or black. 3725 of these cars were built in 1989, and 3750 in 1990." http://w-body.com/index2.html
