Installing 2001 Lights on 2002 / 2003 Nissan Maxima

It would be helpful if the names of the specific places that install 2001 lights in 2002/2003 Maximas could be noted so that owners can decide whether or not this is an appropriate fix and know where to go.

To date, nothing else has worked -- this is a simple fact of owning a 2002/2003 Maxima in NY/NJ.

I retrofiited my 02 with 01 headlights. I can tell you that the wiring is a pain in the neck because the 02's switches are located on th (-) wires as oppossed to most systems being on the (+). Also the headlight housing is a little smaller then the 02/03 causing a gap around the bottom of the headlight. Also you will get some hood rattle, which can be taken care of using weather stripping on the top of the headlights and radiator mount. Another option that I've heard of is replacing the whole nose, including the headlights, with one from a 01, about $3000 to do the work. When they stole my lights, the body work and headlight replacement came out to $2700!
