i have search on this topic and no one really explains the wiring to much.
i have a sunpro tach and i have a few questions.
there is suposed to be a blue wire in the gauge cluster to hook up the feed from the dizzy but there are three blue wires which one is it blue/yellow
blue/silver
blue/red
?
i know the black wire is ground. but im confused on where i can wire the power to 12volts when 2nd ignotion
and dash lights on.
if you can help me out thanks.

I would run the tach lead, directly into your distributor. Just hook it to the negative terminal on the ignitor.
For the 12 volt switchable wire, just find a fuse that powers the dash lights, etc and use that.

thats where your wrong. i went to the junk yard to pull a driver side window. and im sure if you live in ny you can agree with me how hard it is to find a driver side window with the seat belts on the door. not the pilar.
and i saw this loanly little gauge sitting there all by its self.
amazingly it was a link (http://www.sunpro.com/cgi-bin/web_store.cgi?page=cp7903.htm&cart_id=6063310_72311)
it was sitting right on the driver seat, all dissconnected.
now i dont know how to install it.
im good with every thing else just not wiring.

It's the Blue/Silver. If you would have searched the topic first then you would have found a good link, because I know that I have posted the link atleast 3 or 4 times.
