First, I bought R1 springs and hate them now, they pop and make weird noises when I turn the steering wheel. How are yours holding up? What make are they?
Second, my Civic is a 4dr. LX. My question for the EX owners or anyone really, is will the EX header fit the LX engine? I'm looking on ebay and someone is selling one that says this is possible. Is it? Thanks for any help.

it will fit the block but i doubt it will fit the cat.... ucan buy a ex header but youll need the ex cat and ex exhaust... i suggest if u havent already buy a exhuast for the lx the save for the headers but a cat uograde b4 u buy the headers would be more benifical to the motor that the ex header.. basically ur not gonna get gains from the ex header and it may actually hurt your engine b/c it may leak... and about the springs i dont kno they are a cheap brand save and buy some eibach sportlines jus my :2cents:

I've already converted the exhaust from the cat back w/ a performance exhaust pipe, so that problem is taken care of. You think the Ex header would hurt my engine though? What do you mean exactly, I'm concerned. It may leak what? Thanks

All civic's headers diameter holes should be the same size. Therefore, it's a perfect bolt on. The only problem you would have really is from the cat back. So I suggest you find a universal catalytic converter or resanator for your car and have someone weld it in place for you. This will take care of any possibe leaks. To install it will only cost you around 25 bucks but the cat can vary depending on brand names.

As far as spring goes, I got a PROGRESSIVE springs. Now, I know it's not the top of the line but it worked pretty good so far. I got them on a little over a year and I still don't have any problem with them yet. That's better than what I have to say about some of the brand name springs like the AEM and Neuspeed. I had those on my Accord once and it was a waste of money because none of them didn't even last me a year. After 6 months my car starts to bounce when I take it on the highway.
