Aurora power windows/locks

Everything in my 2001 Aurora runs/work fine - 2 days ago however, without a warning, the power locks and doors went out. Any idea what this might be ? I checked fuses and relays but not circuit breakers. Is faulty wiring more the likely the culprit ? All other electrical systems are fine. Thanks for your help.

Please read all the other malfunctioning window/doorlock threads.

Have checked them out...appears to be no small undertaking...will check grounds/wiring. If it is not that, What is the likelihood of circuit breakers needing replaced ?

Cheers-

Probably the cheapest option to explore before paying shop labor to start looking.

I have the same problem. This is something that happens alot but the dealerr wants to rape your wallet before they fix it. from what i understand is that the drivers door controll modual sends out a singnal to the other door and if it is bad it wont send it out. after you replace it the vehicle needs to go to the dealer to get reprogramed. let me know if you fixed your problem because it is just theory. i want to know if someone fixed this problem with out spending alot of money....

Try grabbing the rubber boot between the body and door, squeeze and turn as you try the windows. I found my short that way... split the boot open and soldered 4 wires back together.... and vola, move able glass! It also fixed my intermitten self adjusting driver seat ;).
