botht the Mach 1 and charger are great cars.
there is more support for chevys however, so I would go that route to simplify things.
Chevelle, camaro, malibu, all are great, and easy to fix up.

My Fav's the charger. The dodge challenger's another good looking car in my oppinion but i dont know much about it in terms of performance. But if you're looking for convenience you might prefere the chevelle or camaro, i dont really like the other chevs.

Mopars are to pricey and replacement parts are a bitch to find. Id go with a GM A body. Much less pricey and a lot of good websites make reproduction parts
visit www.opgi.com for just an idea

it all really depends in how much you have in your pocket

If money is no problem it basically comes down to what looks best to you. Any car you can fit a v8 into has "haul ass" potential.

If your looking for a chevy that will haul ass then really any kind of Super Sport will do. Chevelles, Camaros, Nova's. And in the ford category I like the Mach 1's better than any other mustang. All of these cars can haul ass though. Any SS usually comes equipt with a 396 which is pretty big. But im not sure bout the fords though. Im more of a chevy person.

Chevelle SS 454, Mach 1 'Stang, Camaro, and of course my favorite, the Charger, are all good cars but I think another car you might want to think about is the Trans Am. They're a nice car as long as money is no object. The Plymouth Duster is a nice car too if you're willing to drop in a small block.

I'm selling a 64 Mercury Comet (Merc version of the Ford Falcon) with a rebuilt 289 and a 4-speed. The chassis/suspension is almost identical to the 60's Mustangs, so the aftermarket stuff is out there.
It'd be real easy to either build up the 289, or drop in a 5.0 engine.

The Malibu and Chevelle are the same car. There was a Malibu version of the Chevelle, and a SS version.

If I was going to buy another car it would have to be a Barracuda. Although, a '57 BelAir would be a nice ride too.
