Well I am new to this forum and was hoping someone might be able to help me out.... A week ago my heater was working fine and I shut the vehicle off for a couple of hours and when we started it again no heater nothing it didn't even blow any air in any position. I even tried the AC and that didn't work either. Well the next day I went out and started it up again and it worked again like a dream then last night I was going to go out with some friends and when I started it again no heater at all. Hoping it would do the same thing again today I started it to drive it too work and no heat again nothing at all. Its not that it blow heat its just that it doesn't blow anything at all is the problem. Does anyone know what this might be??? I am hoping its not the heater itself but I would like to know what anyone else thinks this might be??? Thank you much

Very unusual. There are two different circuits that run the blower. The lower speeds run off a resistor pack, the high speed runs direct from a separate relay through a fuse wire direct from battery. Do you have no air blower at any speed? This may well be a bad blower but might disconnect the power wire to the blower and plug it back in to be sure it is fully connected.

I have no blower at any speed at all but if I hit on my blower motor a little bit then it will work just fine at any speed at all until I turn of my vehicle. IT works sometimes but not all the time. Sometimes I turn it off and its fine and will work after I start the vehicle again but sometimes it won't work at all. Could this be a bad blower motor??? Thanks for the help

This is common in older Chevys, and it is usually caused by a loose or bad connedtion where the power wire (purple and about 1/8" thick on older full size models) connects to the blower motor. Just a guess here, but easy to check if they haven't concealed the blower motor on the newer stuff. Good luck. CB
