To remove the serpentine belt is very easy. Get the car up on stands or ramps. Get a socket and wrench and put it on the spring loaded 'pulley' and i believe you pull down to release tension on the belt....slip the belt off while the tension is released and whalla! The belt is off! Easy. It's easier to put it back on with 2 people. One person holds it in place and the other releases tension. The alternator is easy to replace also. 3 bolts i believe watch out for the big terminal and the connector on the back. Remove your negative terminal from the battery before you remove the alternator....that big terminal in the bag of the alt. is positive+ from the battery so you don't want it to ground out.
