Oooh, Mine would have to be a black Ferrari Enzo, 4 Turbos(Got that idea from the Bugatti Veyron), Koenig everything, Slammed and riddin' on 20"s. Let's see an Impreza take that shit, shall we? (No offence, 79VW, unless your car is meant to be all show and even more go, I love good looking cars that can go fast, but I hate show cars, like Civics, that can't perform!) But hey, for cruisin' it would have to be a black Lingenfelter Hummer H2, Ridin' on 26"s With black leather/red stiching interior... Anyone else?

The 60's Mustangs were nice. I'd have mine with a nitrous'd crate motor and C4 trans. A little suspension work would be greatly desired also.

I love the Porsche and would take pride in it all the time. Its just that its not a conventional car to drive all the time. I would take the Porsche out at nights and race, but would use the S600 if I were to bring other people with me. And he did ask us to choose a dream car and then a big sedan or SUV to "roll in".

Oh boy do I have a list (but some cars here are not as popular or even heard of) All these cars I'd use for racing, commuting, and to "roll in".
1. Ford Mustang BOSS 302 w/ Original Block and a 5-Speed Tranny, Deep OZ Wheels (Gun Metal) and a few modern lookies like the bumper in Gone In 60 Seconds, and flushed out rear lights. Redisigned interior, red+black leather and aluminum panels.
2. GAZ 2101 (1970's Lada) Mostly Original Body w/ Blood Red Paint. Caron Fiber Hood and Front Quater Panels (Quater Panels Painted), VR6 Twin Turbo, 6-Speed Tranny. SuperTouring spoiler (probably from Hamann) Dropped maybe 3", with 16" Multispoke OZ's and Brembo brake kit. Redisigned interior, red+black leather and aluminum panels.
3. BMW M5 (E39) Debadged :p ! The last of the non-Chris-Bangle-designed BMW's. Metalic Blue or Dark Satin Grey. Mostly stock, maybe a little Hamann or Dinan tweaking wouldn't hurt. Brembo Kit is a must.
4. Ferrari 360 Modena. Hamann Everything.
5. Current Porsche 911 Turbo. The only personalization is a Licence Plate.
6. VW Corrado G60 (I used to own this car, but I wish one day to get one again) Stock Engine, Stock Supercharger, a few Eurosport goodies. Brembo's and Rager GTO body kit.

I just learned that Ducati 999 series came out -- sweet bikes too.
Ducati, it's the Ferrari of all motorcycles. The rest are basically Honda's and Suzuki's, like cars, I dont see nothing special in them.

Sorry about the huge picture holder, [I edited it out of my post], looks like that site doesnt like linking from their pictures.
Well, I never said that Ducati's are the fastest production bikes, but the quality in those bikes, and the way they look, oooh. You know like the BMW's you pay extra $10K cuz a car has a roundel logo, you'd still buy it if you can afford it, same goes for the Ducati, what you're buying is a piece of great history. There are more and more bikes on the streets here in CA. When one passes you, you begin to distinguish if it's just a regular Honda (like CIVIC's), BMW (although quality bikes, they dont look good) or when you just can't keep your eyes off as a red Ducati flies in and out of traffic as if a Ferrari. As you try to keep up, cutting into the traffic, using a sholder to pass a Semi, you watch hoplessly as the bike easily puls away from a speeding black BMW.
Sorry, just remembered a great moment.

Yeah, but it is not always because a bike is priced more that it is better. I have read many reveiws, and according to the public, the Hayabusa's fit and finish is supposed to be about the same/better than a $10,000 more Ducati. Plus, alot of people don't buy a bike because it is ugly. I like the Ducatis, but it is something about the 'Busa that just gets me everytime. Wouldn't mind getting a Ducati either, but a Busa I would never pass up...
PS, a Suziki bike is not exactly like the cars...the bikes are what Suzuki does best, and I will never know why they even went into the car business in the first place. Their bikes are extreme IMO...But every one has their own tastes, right?

the question is this: does suzuki sell more cars in japan? the company may be unable to penetrate much of the american market, but may sell well overseas. but i really don't know.
HighOctaneNOSUser
01-11-2004, 04:34 PM
I am not sure either. They probably do because of some really sweet top-secret Japanese-only you can't-get-one-and-even-if-you-do-it-will-be-watered-down kind of super car, that is the only way I see them selling more cars...even in Japan...
bonzelite
01-11-2004, 07:03 PM
they may also do it for tax reasons: if suzuki starts another division of itself, as a subsidiary, that company can have it's own corporate identity legally. then, because the parent company does not need to sell cars, they can write off the car division as a corporate loss, saving tons of money for the parent company on their tax returns. that is probably the 'real' reason. but i cannot know for sure. and my cynicsm may not be warranted. but...

not satisfied with what i am seeing posted, i have taken matters into my own hands: Don Yenko in 1967, a racing developer, forged a relationship with GM and began creating a racing "factory" version of the already fast Camaro. the Yenko-issue Camaros, awesome looking btw, received the Corvette L-72 427 engine. the car was upgraded in other areas as well, and thus began the Yenko Super Camaro.
i went to google and searched Yenko Camaro until i hit pay dirt.
thank you to all who posted. without you bringing the issue up, i may have never known wtf Yenko was/is. :smokin:
