Anyone have any feedback on remote starters. Just got one for my 90 Chevy Silverado Z71, 5.7 liter. Not installed yet. Got it for a Christmas gift from my darling wife. Warm truck on a cold winter morning and cool on those 90 degree days sound great.
Just wanted to know if there will be any un-anticipated problems. It has a throttle body and runs great. I just want to keep it that way. Remote also has a button for locking and unlocking the doors ( truck has auto locks now). That would be nice too if it works OK.

It's pretty easy truck to do. Just a hand full of wires to get then your done. I suggest using a remote start that has tach sense though.
