Tamiya compound is discontinued and i cant wait for the 3 new ones that are scheduled to come out. (well if all of these are crap, i'll have to wait)

I have the last one on the list, the hagesawa cermemic compound, and I would recommend this over the tamiya one

It is liquid and does not leave ANY residue on the surface, which means no more removing excessed compund in panel lines with toothpicks.

Effect-wise, I have not really tried it to its fullest extent yet, only kind of played with it. I polished an old kit with a dremel, without clearcoat the compound is already able to achieve great amount of shine and minor mirror effect.

And I havn't tried this on clearcoat yet.
