Install shift boot

OK how the FUCK do I install this shift boot?
It's a momo performance, it has that stretchy spandex shit in the very bottom. I have 98 Civic EX. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have never seen it ..... but usually you take off the shift knob to slip it over the shift stick. I am guessing you are replacing the boot that was on there. If so, you have to take off the console around the shifter - then you can take off the bracket(s) that hold the old boot on. Use those brackets to attach the new boot.
