Quake 4 in development?

I don't know if this is old news to anybody, but id software says Quake 4 will be finished after Doom 3 is on shelves (Jan - March 2004) and will continue the storyline of Quake 2, usuing the Doom 3 engine. :smokin:

i was hoping to see more Shamblers and Zombies from the original, but I guess we'll never see that dimension again. I don't know if they got trent to do the soundtrack for 4, anybody know?

Okay, we've jumped down his throat, and the thread's been moved. Do you have a link for that goat launcher? I think it would rock, as long as they write a good story to it...

I haven't heard anything on the plot, but I do have a link for the concept art, it that's worth anything. Because they said it will enpand on the Quake 2 plot, we might see more Strogg, which I am tired of.

well if it does follow the story of 2, I will be a very happy man, because to me, Quake 3 Arena was a huge dissapointment, no replay value what so ever, because I am not big into deathmatch, it could of at least had a single player story to go along with it.
