Doesn't exist . Not a US legal car.

You'll barely be able to get one in Japan for that much, let alone imported to the US and legalized. On top of that, the R34s currently cannot be legalized. For $40k, you're looking at an R32 GT-R.

12-25-2003, 08:14 PM
yeah.. think 40k just to buy it in japan and another 50k on top of that.

40k, either a good condition r32 with a few mods to it or a r33 with the good charm of the motley crew.

sucks to be you.

Reply I have the shipping and everything worked out I just need to find the R34 for 40 thousand & under in Japan.

i hear you can't currently legalize r34s rite now, and if you are really that desperate, go to japan yourself. ticket is waht, 500-700?

if i heard wrong about the r34, you have the 25K to legalize it? or are you going to bring the skyline here in 40 bags dissambeled and under your bed?

:D

I hear its in the process and you can still legalize them. I know a place that includes the shipping taxes and conversion for 21,500. Also motorex is still selling and has a site so I guess they still legal to legalize.

I'm assuming that place is in california right?
And i'm not sure about rbmotoring, but it's still in california.

21500? its called bullshit.

FUEL IMPORTS, LLC : Here you can find everything about the importing procedure of JDM cars. And we would be happy to support your importing procedure of the JDM cars, if you are considering to import the JDM car into the US. We can help your importing the JDM car. The importing cost depends on factors, but generally
R32 Skyline GTR 1990-1994 : $12,500USD
R33 Skyline GTR 1995 : $15,500USD
R33 Skyline GTR 1996-1998 : $21,500USD
R34 Skyline GTR 1999-2003 : $21,500USD

Note: These prices include shipping, conversion, federal taxes, bonds, lading. Shipping included to Port of Elizabeth in New Jersey where conversions are done.

i know that company... heard about ti b4. i believe i recall hearing that they import it, but do not legalize it (although they say they do)

this is just like the case with "evolution imports" and how pissed off everyone is about them.

any idiot with cash and connections can import a skyline or a evo 7, but having it pass throguh customs and legalizing it is another matter.

either
a)BS
b)they bought it off motorex, very unlikely.

don't beleive everything someone says. it's like people and TV marketplaces. "just becasue its on the TV doesn't mean it is actually true"

FUEL IMPORTS, LLC :

I have not seen any car they have actually done . I have not seen any information that they are an RI.

I would ask to see a DOT bond release and copies of their RI letter before I sent them $1.

Its easy to make claims . Make pretty websites . Its harder to actually legalize cars.

And there's your problem. It's highly doubtful you're going to find an R34 GT-R for as low as $40k, let alone under that.

in any case, you're still going to have to put up bigger bucks to get it here, and there's all sort of extra fees, and the insurance that gets charged by the gov't., which is something like 150% of what the car is worth...
ask sean, he'll tell you...
and fuel imports got debunked in the stickied thread up top...
also. from all the information i've seen, motorex only lost the ability to legalize r34s, nothing about any other car. that's why they're still selling the others.
you can ask them for more specific information.

12-27-2003, 03:10 PM
trust us, anyone trying to get you a r34 not already being driven and legalized in the us (buyers from motorex) currently is shitting you

See thats where your wrong Sean. Fuel Imports has a HORRIBLE website :D . Me and my boss (I know you dont like him, NIGHTXCZ77) have contacted Fuel Imports on many occasions to try and grab some info from them. We ask "could you please fax us some information that proves that you are infact an RI?" they would respond "We cannot disclose any of that information due to the secrecy form under article 32a (the "32a" changed to 32e two days later)" Personally, I think if it came time to get my Skyline (ONE DAY! I will own "bert" Sean, you watch :p ) I would go through my boss to get the thing over here, (good prices) then send it to RBMOTORING to get her legal. Dream car: White R34 GTR V-SpecII with black rims, black C'West wing, stock body. With Mines N1 block and Turbos, tuned to about 550hp... mmmmm SICK :D And whats even more funny, is I may be in a situation to spend that much here soon. YAY! Haha later guys (O and by the way Sean, Cam is legit, just imported GTS-T R33 with GTR exterior conversion. Just because hes not an RI, doesnt mean he cant import... Just to let you know)

O and Sean... How is RB Motoring handling the OBDII crisis at the moment?

Nismo LMR - you may not want to say anything more about what you and Cameron do until you read the thread on " Importing - I have done it".

Realize that Cameron is doing something illegal , but bypassing EPA and DOT laws.

Not something you may want to brag on when you get some Federal Agents at your door.

^ yeah but he clearly claims hes 150% legal...go figure..Im wondering what information you need to be 100% legal..what is he doing..that allows him to import and sell these cars..aswell with your arguement of what he IS doing wrong and what he claims he IS doing RIGHT..settle it..

Read the thread that Sean mentioned...
exactly.
just b/c he claims he's 150% legal and IS selling/importing them, that doesn't mean that he IS INDEED legal.
jail and a new roomie named bubba are surely around the corner for our buddies... ;)
