To those who has them, how are they? I'm about to buy new tires, shocks, and brakes but I don't want to go all over the place to get the parts. Tirerack seems to be the best choice since I can buy just about everything I want from them. However, they only carry these and the Koni's... I don't feel like cutting my stock strut housing.

Go over to the org, there's always a post on there about them by someone. From what I've heard though they're pretty damn good especially with the Tein setup.
I think someone mentioned southwestautoparts.com is one of the lowest prices on these but don't quote me on that.

actually, tirerack *might* match someone else's price. I currently have gr-2s...have had them for a little over a year now....but i'll tell you this:
i went with the gr-2s because they have a lifetime warranty and they are locally available.....i changed mine for the heck of it a couple of months back, by going to advanced auto parts and they swapped them out for me with the receipt i had from tirerack. Get them done yourself....it'll save you labor, not to mention the experience. It's as easy as it gets....heck i still dont know how to change my oil but i've replaced my complete suspension myself..it's THAT easy.
I have them mated to eibachs and the car is very stable, balanced and firm.

once this shitty winter is over i'm gonna get tokico illumina's and some springs. is it really that easy to do? how long did it take you? how low did you go and how's your ride quality versus stock?
I was gonna get the cattman Y pipe and mid pipes for my car but i decided i have plenty of power for now, i need to improve my handling dramatically, the stock body roll is terrible.

the first time i changed my suspension, it took me about 5 days because i was i got sent the wrong driver sider rear strut.....I was also changing my front sway and rear sway bars as well so it was an all out job i was doing on my own. the next time i changed my struts, it took me 30mins for the fronts and ~40mins for the rears. Yes it's THAT easy. My eibachs dropped the height by 1.2" which is just perfect.
I'll give you a brief breakdown on how to get it done...(or at least, how i did it on my car.) You'll need the following parts:
a spring/ mcpherson strut compressor
an impact wrench would make things a breeze but normal sockets and wrenches can be used. Make sure you have from sizes 8 to 22.
For the rear, you might need a pipe wrench.
Jack the front wheels up, remove the wheels, remove the two bolts holding the strut just abouve the rotor and remove the three top bolts and out comes the strut and spring. Compress the spring fully, remove the center bolt and separate the spring from the strut. Replace the strut. reverse the directions. For the rears, you'll have to remove the strut from the housing it is in (at least in my car you had to) and thats it.
