Installing a cold air intake

Hey! I just got a cold air intake for Christmas for my 1999 GS, but the problem is it came with no instructions...can anyone tell me in simple terms how to get that darn thing in my car.THANKS

start by loosening the hose clamps for the OEM intake assembly. Remove the stock air box as well. Depending on what brand you have you will have a bracket of some sort that supports the air piping so just bolt that on wherever it needs to go (you should be able to hold it in place and guess as to where it mounts).

It should be easier than changing your oil. What brand of intake is it anyway that you got no instructions... an eBay special :lol2:

yeah... the factory airbox kinda sucks to get out because of the location of all the screws. after thats out, mine was easier to put in if i took the thing that holds the battery down off because it is easy to scrape it. otherwise just hook the pieces together and try and find somewhere to put the support thing and you should be good
