2.5 RS worth it?

Hi, I know quite a bit about honda cars. but i dont know alot about subarus. im new to the whole boxer 4 and i would like to know how reliable they are and what i should look for when buying one. i ask these questions because i hear they are prety sick little cars, and just want to know if thas trure.

I haven't had any problems out of my motor accept a little hesitation on acceleration when I first bought it, but it was because of the previous owner's lack of maintainence. It's never died on me or anything and it's pushing 80k right now, which means I've only put about 4k on it. It's a reliable little engine, which suprises me considering it wasn't taken care of. I haven't had any problems with the trannie or differentials or anything. Everything's smooth too.
