I just worked on sanding and filing. I also made the rear flare out some more. And just basically shaped and shaved the rear bumper so the top part is about flush, that is how the real INGS bumper is there is a line right in the middle. I also mock mounted my Titanium Exhaust i made. Sorry for the 2 blurry pics.Tell me what you guys think.

Thanx for the replys. No the exhaust doesnt hit the floor. But most angled exhaust come close to hitting the ground, that is just how they are, better air flow.

Nice bumper, wuts with the blue stripe on the muffler, and what does a muffler have to do with better air flow if its closer to the ground?

The best Exhaust for a Turbo car, Is no exhaust, Exhaust still restrics air flow, the more air flow = the more power. Fart cans are just for looks and sound's on a turbo car.....

Looks cool but that blue ring around the exhaust is a little unrealistic.

yea, i agree with camber, why dont you try getting some PrismaColor markers, and maybe try to put the blue ring, then blend it in with the clear marker thingie...just a quick thought...

Yeah sk8ter is totally right. Exhaust, silencers, cats, resonators restrict lotssss of air. Usually lots of race cars use N1 style exhaust with straight piping.

Also i didnt mean if its closer to the ground it flows better, i meant by the way it bends it produces better airflow. Yeah i know the exhaust looks kinda unreal. That is why im finding other ways to do it. Thanx for the replys.

no exausht? so you just wanna shoot heated air and burnt fuels all over your engine bay? at least direct it out to control heat and stuff.

no exhaust, i think, means that the pipe will be straight, no fancy tip or anything

Integra14
02-21-2004, 03:39 PM
actually a lot of racers use a "dump" which just ends the pipe fromt eh exhaust manifold.....

no muffler, No cat, no resinators(hondas/acuras).... nothin.....

dump :)

defintely great horsepower

Well theres to kinds of straight piping.

1. Exhaust pipe with not cat. or no resonator, but with exhaust
2. Just straight pipe nothing on it.

straight 3'' piping from the turbo to a straight through muffler works best on turbo cars, don't want the cool air running up the pipe after a few feet off the turbo, housing could crack. That's why most honda 4's dont run straight open headers, they have usually about 4-6 feet of piping from the header with a turndown under the car (can be seen at the drag track) there heads would crack if they ran open header, cool air up the pipe, and crrraaack!

I got the front right suspension done. It took along time. I modified R34 Drilled brakes to fit the 180 suspension. It took lots of shaving of plastic. But all of that work took a while. I used the Advan RG's for reference where the rims would sit. I AM VERY AFRAID THAT THE NEW AOSHIMA VOLK CE28'S WILL NOT FIT!!! i have already ordered them. Can anyone tell me right now for sure if they will fit or not who ever has that wheel and this 180 kit. If they dont fit when i get them, i will be using Advan RG's the ones below or some Blitz Z1's. Sorry for the blurry pics.

Yes they will be painted. I am painting them to match Endless Brakes they use.

The new S-parts are going to tuck. If those Advans sit on the tire and almost tuck it certain the 19"s will.

You're also going to have to modify more as the S-part wheels are female. As far as width. That's going to depend on how you modify your suspension to accomodate to the new wheels.

Thanx for the info. I am just afraid the wheel will look to big for the car. I am also afraid of the height of the car even if i dump the car it will still be high.

how do you make your exhaust? how is the area in between the muffler and exhaust so clean?

yeah, heres a example of that with Yashio Factories S15, its a split pipe, theres a switch that will lead the gases to the dump instead of through the "custom" cat, which Yashio Factory has installed
