T3 cheap ... Worth?

I just have seen used T3 turbo kits on ebay for 1100 USD.

But none gives info how to connect oil lines in. Solution? (with photos if you have).

And I have a B16A2 ('99 1.6VTI) with A/C! Will those kits fit between my engine A/C fan?

What about ECU? OEM ECU enough?

And shall I replace anything inside the engine to gain 0.5-0.6 bar? (valves, cam etc.) Or can I use the OEM engine?

And what performance I gain with 0.5-0.6 bar? Originally I have 8.1s/100kmh with the factory 160 PS. less than 6.8s? Can the front wheels put that power on road at startup without prob?

Sorry for stupid questions... But i want to know that 1100 USD for installing that kit or else replacement needed as well.

Thx in adv,

Peter from Hungary, Europe

Save your money and buy a new kit. You can save money now and buy one with out the FMIC if needed.
Also...be more specific as to what type of T3 Turbo.

I meant e.g. this one is with intercooler (though first step I do not need intercooler, but if it's included... :))

And this one is without intercooler:

What do you think, shall I buy something else for them except piping and oil line as they are not included as say so? And does it really fit into an A/C B16A2? I don't want to buy something that doesn't go between A/C fan and engine... I need that A/C very much...

And what about gaining? Soembody has test results on 0-100kmh? (0.5bar)

Thanks for your reply!

Merry Xmas for You too! ("Boldog Karácsonyt" - this is the same in hungarian :))

buy the piping but I wouldn't buy the turbo. I've known people to sell turbos that are shot, with lots of shaft play, or even blowing oil all over the place. Used turbos are risky. I suggest you buy the plumbing and manifold from there but buy a new turbo. You can get a brand new turbo with a 360 race bearing for like 650.

Those manifolds appear to be the ssautochrome manifolds which are known to crack very easily. And I agree, don't buy a used turbo just save up a little more and get a new one. It'd be well worth it.

Thanks for the info!

I was offered to buy (for 200 USD) a brand new Garrett out of an Audi V6 2.5TDi. I'm trying to buy a manifold with downpipe from ebay then. But i don't know if this turbo fits for my B16A2 with A/C and compatible with manifold sold for T3 turbos. I give all texts from the turbo, pls, help me and tell me your opinion (also pls explain the numbers on the surface of turbo):

Garrett A/R.45 8 03 N-42
A3-503.0301
VWAudi GT205 2V
GA3059145701S
454135-10 S/N GCF01952Fl
Made in France

Sorry for lame question, but would be big help to know something about this turbo...

The one i was offered is a 100% new one, was never used. I just would like to know if this one is good for a T3 manifold ... or how do I know that a Garrett is T3? What to look at?

You will not save your A/C with a T3 setup.
